Hilarious Factor













I had Haizum sleep over at my place yesterday. No we did not have any PJ party! But I guess we should. We just watch CSI and MTV before we call it a night.

Wake up quite late this morning, Nadya miss here Iqrak class. But that's ok, she need that much needed rest anyway (really!! I'm not making excuses for waking up late. Oh OK! So shoot me!).

And guess what. We watch MTV again. This is the hilarious part. Asha Gill was on. And Haizum told me that I kinda look like her, (and there's no wonder why you are like my fav cuzz :) )but I don't think I look like Asha or Sindee at all!

Eversince when I was like 16, people had already mistaken me for a Star. There's this one occasion when I was taking the train to down town. There's this guy (I must say he's CUTE!) actually ask for my autograph. As usual I had that sotong look (but I guess I must have look even more cuter?? when I have that look, cause that guy has smiles go even wider).
So I say "err for what ah??".
And he said "Oh sorry. I thought you were Wendy Jacobs".
I almost choke! And guess he realized that I wasn't Wendy cause I have not master that South African accent (not that I've mastered it now....). He gave me his number though, which I've never got the nerve to call (well actually my mum would screen my calls, so....). For God sake I was only 16.

Then when I was 17. This time it's kinda freaky. I was out having dinner with some friends at Clark Quay, when this BUTCH (no offence, but I'm STRAIGHT! and I hope I got the right spelling) came up to me and say that I look like Drew Barrymore. Needless to say some of my so called friends laugh hysterically. I don't know if she or he say that so that we could exchange numbers or she/he really meant it. So I gave her/him a fake number just so I could brush her/him away. I felt bad having to do that but...... I'm straight!!!

And when I was 18 (and oh how I miss being 18....*sigh*). I had this really curly and long flocks (its all mine, it natural ;p). It was at HotBod (I remembered it cause I celebrate my 18th Birthday there, no particular reason. Well if you have to know.....YES! Finally I get to step into a club. There HAPPY?? oh! and please don't tell my mum) And the waiter that served us said that I look like Sheryl Crow. This I'm not quite sure. The club was quite dark for one thing. He probably just wants me to tip him more. Either that he was intoxicated with all that drinks behind the bar. Hmmm......

And the latest, besides Haizum's comments. My bro in-law Haridas and his fiance Bhavani had brought their engagement photos to work (they both work at the same place). And she told my hubs that their friends think that I look like Fan Wong. Ok 1st of all how could anybody in Sari look like Fan Wong?? You can view that pic here.

To peeps who have no idea how Asha Gill or Wendy look like. There's picture of them on top. And that little pic on the left is yours truly (7 yrs ago. *sigh*). I can't find Fan Wong pic though. And I'm sure even peeps knows how Drew Barrymore and Sheryl Crow look like.

Ok I know my friends especially Lemming would probably need to puke now. So go and do just that! :P

To conclude.....I just thank God for the way I look and for giving me a great husband and two beautiful kids. It doesn't really matter how I look on the outside cause I know I'll grow old and its all gone, but whats on the inside that matters and to know that I can serve God and to be able to love and to be love by God and my husband.
